I've been practicing sketchnoting for a few months now. Really loving how I am developing a style, a voice, and confidence in my drawing and note taking. Another benefit that I am finding of sketchnoting: I am becoming a much better listener. I find myself being more careful with what I write and sketch, and as a result am more aware of what is happening. The old note taker would be able to only focus on one thing at a time, but as a result of sketching, I am becoming a more active and in-tuned listener. This has HUGE classroom and instructional implications, by the way. Here's my first collection of my adventures in sketchnoting:
