I have been working with teachers, students, parents, and communities in the education field for more than twenty years. Simply put: I love learning. Not just learning new things, but how we learn. Learning is a constantly evolving continuum and our educational systems need to reflect that principle. Since moving from Oregon in 2004, I have collaborated with the State Department of Education,  and worked within and across several Maine schools and district to promote and implement effective learning systems.

Education areas I am passionate about:
  • Personalized learning
  • Student-Centered learning
  • Technology Integration
  • Design Thinking
  • Educator Effectiveness
  • Formative Assessment
  • Learning Spaces/Environments
  • Maker Education
  • Critical Creativity
  • Content Integration
